Welcome to CelebStory.com - a Humanity Almanac, interactive platform dedicated to any famous person ever lived.

A resource about people, made for people and by people.

Each photo is attached to a date and displayed as a smooth story.

Here you can find individuals from all fields and times. Leaders, musicians, scientists, actors, models, writers and criminals, all in one place.

Anyone can upload new photos, or create galleries.

  1. When you upload content or use your referral link, you gain points. 100 for a picture, 200 for a new gallery.

    Soon your points will be converted into CelebStory NFTs, that represent the value of the whole resource, and can be sold with a fixed price during the Payday in early 2025.

  2. The fastest way to gain points is to share your Referral link with friends. Every account registered with your link gives 500 points to you and 500 to the receiver. Find your link on your Profile page. Condition: Receiver must protect the bonus by earning another 500 points from uploading pictures within 7 days; otherwise, both parties lose their bonuses.
  3. Just one gallery per one famous person, please.
  4. Only recognized personalities with a Wikipedia article are accepted. Use the most popular name/pseudonym variation, spelled exactly as on Wikipedia. No secondary names, please. (Example: Mike Tyson, Johnny Depp, Eminem).
  5. For uploading of rare or hard-to-find photos you will be rewarded with additional points. Write a bonus request into ‘Details’ section for each rare photo when you upload it, with a points number that you expect.
  6. No Photoshop, no AI-generated or modified content. The core idea is to gather only proven authentic photos, verified by humans.
  7. There is a penalty for uploading wrong/mistaken content – minus 500 points. Please double check the date and the person on photo.
  8. The date attached to the photo must be as accurate as possible. If there's no full data, at least the year must be correct. If you have more specific information for existing photos, please use “Report” and describe your source to get rewarded with 50 points for each report.
  9. All content, including comments, is subject of moderation before publication. Usually it works fast, but not instantly. A freshly created gallery is available for uploading right away.
  10. New galleries initially require at least 20 photos that belong to at least 10 different years. It's not cool to see empty abandoned galleries. Exception - for personalities with hard-to-find photos. In that case, please have at least 10 pictures. Violation penalty: 500 points. Use ‘Multiple uploading’ feature to get the dates attached automatically. Photos with defects or watermarks are not accepted.
  11. English is the primary language, chosen for the convenience of search.
  12. Use English Wikipedia spelling for non-English names.
  13. Gained points can be spent on uploading to the Special category which is featured on the Main page. Spent points are not deducted from the number intended for conversion into NFTs, only from the number ‘Available to spend’.
  14. The Special category is designed for real-life heroes who deserve celebration: is it yourself or someone you know - just upload pictures and tell the story to everyone. Make them witness!
  15. Special category: only real people, no fictional characters or non-human beings, please. Robots are allowed.
  16. Special category: you spend 500 points for creating a new gallery, and 200 points per each uploaded picture.
  17. REFERRAL LINK: Share your Referral link to earn 500 points for you and the receiver, for each registered account. Condition: Protect your bonus by earning another 500 points from uploading pictures within 7 days; otherwise, both parties lose their bonuses.
  18. Report - if there's a wrong/inappropriate picture, or if you have a more accurate date. Discussion - add something to the description. Comments are for general chit chat.
  19. Use Reports for inappropriate activity or incorrect dates (please describe your source). You get 50 points per each report, but it's not automatic (to prevent abuse) - the counter is at your Profile page. Text to moderators (from your Profile page) after you have done 10 reports.
  20. When you see a bad quality photo, there's a “Replace” button to suggest the same but better quality picture, that can be found online with Google Lens. You’ll get 100 points for each approved replacement. Any photo can be replaced just once.

How to upload:

  1. Create an account.
  2. Hit "+" button, choose the gallery, upload the picture, input the date, press 'upload'.
  3. To create the gallery: Hit "+" button, press 'create gallery' , input the name, categories, main picture, birth/death dates, press 'Create'. While the gallery on moderation, you can choose it for uploading associated pictures.
  4. Bulk uploading: set the title of each picture to the standard.

Exact name_yyyy-mm-dd

The name in title must perfectly match the gallery’s name. The date will be automatically attached as the picture's date. Example:

Hit "+" button, choose 'Multiple', choose the name of the gallery. Drag and drop the whole list of images, and you'll see them on preview. Press 'upload' and wait while it's loading, till the green window shows up. The content will be visible after the moderation.
